I am so dang happy I found this series. Hard Rock Fling is book two in a Rock Star Romance (Darkest Days) by Athena Wright. This is a four book series but each story can be read as a standalone and they (so far) have had HEAs. I didn’t think I’d like rockstar romances but I was completely hooked with Noah and if that wasn’t enough Ian was just beautiful. Now please please note that there are some triggers in this book, so proceed with caution. That being said the story hit way closer to home than I ever thought it would. I loved how Hope tried so hard not to be a fan girl but really how can you not?! I also loved ‘The Twins’ aspect, to an extent, as their reputation makes it all the more interesting. Hope was perfect for Ian. I truly think she is everything that he needs to help him. They can both help each other heal. I am stoked to continue with the story but sad that there’s only two more books. I can’t sing enough praises for this series thus far.

I voluntarily read a advanced review copy of the book . I love the Darkest Days series . The storyline in Ian story really brings to light a serious issue that a lot of people deal with . Hope and Ian are everything you could want in a rock and roll romance . The vivid writing let's you feel like you are there and experiencing for yourself . If you love rock and roll you will love Athena Wright's stories about them .
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I love everything written by this author. And this book is no exception! Rock stars rock! This lady knows how to write about rock stars in a way that we can enjoy the story and get excited about the lifestyle. We can feel these guys are gorgeous and cool. I would love to have an Ian! What a sexy sweetheart. Poor Hope didn't know whether to trust him or not. They both had issues in their pasts, demons to overcome, before they could move forward in the present. Would they each be able to be that special someone for each other? That one person who shows they care about YOU and not the money, fame or glamour or the next notch on the bedpost? Read this captivating and engaging story to find out!

Nothing really wrong with this book. I liked the idea of twin rock stars. The story wasn't deep, until near the finish. It was a pleasant enough read even if it didn't set my world afire.
The story was great and touching. My youngest brother cut himself from a young age. Thank you for bringing awareness and hope to those that struggle with their emotions.
Intern, Hope, is drawn to one of the twin guitarists in rock band Darkest Days. Incidentally, Hope is one of the few people who can tell Ian and Damon apart...aka 'Damian'. Hope is very perceptive and Ian starts to pursue the intern who sees him as an individual. Soon the pair become hot and heavy and things seem to be going well...except...Ian has a huge secret. Will Hope and Ian survive the secrets? Quick read with a nice HEA. Can't wait to read about Damon...
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! I cannot even begin to say how heart wrenchingly amazing this book is! My heart hasn't even begun to calm down. Ian is perfection. I love Hope. I love the fact that Hope is also a twin. Athena Wright brought in the subject of self-harm and I can say it was not so much that it would be influential, but it was definitely a good amount to make me want to stab myself in the heart because it really is heartbreaking that anyone would think it could help them not feel different pains. But it was so good and now I need to know if Faith and Damon have a story coming up, or will it be Cameron? Hmm . . . .
