I purchased this because my 12 year old wanted more Anansi stories after being introduced to them in volume 1 of Story of the World. This definitely fit the bill for what he wanted. The stories are short, quick reads which we are enjoying as read-alouds. I would definitely buy more books from Yesterday's Classics.
